Careful, that Ferd will feed off of your bad Vibes. Also Calcium is an Element. It Fits.

I drove a second gen Honda Fit recently and it was really quite fun*. It’d be better with a short shifter, but I’d say check one out before you go all in on something else. Then again, I’ve never driven an Element (but like their styling).

*and if I were in the market for a used daily driver automobile they’d be near the top of the list.

our fit is awesome, but mrs doorhandle will drive the father in law Escape, and the fit is a little small for some of the hard miles I put on for work.

...if it were me, I’d want a small car with great fuel economy if I were putting on a lot of miles. But suit yourself I guess.

(Says the guy who road trips an F-100 with a bench seat and 12 mpg)

But Iron Oxide is a compound. hopefully an element is immune to that. (with full electron shells, of course. I don’t want a reactive element looking to combine with something)

It’s a city car. Today I drove it 605 km round trip for about 25 minutes work. (occupation: expert in the miscelleaneous, live in a sparsely populated place with several oil patches). It’s not quite trucky enough to blaze at high speeds down country roads with a few hundred pounds of stuff in the back. I mean, it’ll do it, but it’s a little car.

The Element is terrible, don’t do it.

Ours is somehow less reliable than my 95 BMW and 78 Porsche. Plus the doors freaking suck.

damn those are cheap. the escape is coming from Albuquerque and being imported to saskatchewan. I’d be leery about an old Honda from a rusty state. Inspectionwise that is. love me some rusty old honda.

That’s the first bad thing I heard about it. but as a former crv owner I’m sure those doors whistle a bit as the car pitches from side to side on rought streets.

At least you have the luxury in Canada to get U.S. cars without the government coming after you.

You still have to bring it to Canadian spec if it’s less than 15 years old. not much difference these days. You do have to have airbag warning stickers that are in english AND French. Fortunately, my F 150 from New Mexico, made in old Mexico, was also labelled in french(not that they’d check for french around here though). If it’s more than 15 years old you can do whatever the hell you want, which has led to back lanes full of crashed skylines and such.

No whistling, but getting in and out sucks since you have to open the fronts to open the rears. It creates a great dance you have to do with whoever gets out the back.

Also, pretty much the entire car is hard plastic.
